Dear readers,
Last September, the Head and Neck Cancer Study Group (Grupo de Estudos de Cancro da Cabeça e Pescoço – GECCP) organized its 14th National Symposium. Some of the original presentations were converted into five of the articles featured in this issue.
The interim analysis of a prospective multicenter Portuguese study, aiming to determine the proportion of patients with Ki67 < 10% in surgical specimens after short-course endocrine therapy, is also included. The results are consistent with the findings of several other similar analyses.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge all the contributing authors to this ongoing indexing effort undertaken by the Revista Portuguesa de Oncologia.
